Take a moment to look at examine the drawing. I’m not going to be saying TOO much this time (or at least I’ll TRY) I just want you to think and grasp what’s going on… Read on when ready.

As I sit in front of a blank document page on my computer I’m trying my hardest to formulate the words that can rightfully describe the desperate feeling that is portrayed in my drawing… the feeling of being trapped, addicted and enslaved by pornography and other sin. This feeling of hopelessness and enslavement ruled me at one point in my life. I was a slave to that sin and I repeatedly obeyed my lusts. I made this for those people out there who are currently starving to be free. This theme could very much be used for any kind of sin but I chose pornography because of it’s increasing popularity and tolerance. This is a depiction of what sin does to people but understand this: You don’t have to be a slave to sin. There’s freedom in Christ.“In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.” (Romans 6:11-14)*Songs used for creative process here*Sinfulness of sin
